Richard Argiro Alzate, born November 24, 1983 in Providence, Rhode Island, entered eternal rest in his home in Hope, Rhode Island on Thursday, February 2, 2024. Leaving an indescribable and immesureable impact on countless people. He was not just a person or a man, but an experience. Those who had the pleasure of having Richard in their life know they would never come across another person so unique and loving twice in a lifetime. He did not “light up a room” - he was the room and anyone who entered was lightened by him. He had passion unlike anyone else, passion for success, family, friends, sports, travel and all the finer things in life. There was no limit to what he could and could not do and he let that be known. With an intense love that was undeniable, you felt every bit of, every word he’s ever spoken and every action he’s ever taken - it was impactful. When he loved, he loved immensely, when he spoke, it was effective, and when he laughed it was contagious. A witty and intelligent man who had the power of a thousand men you could not help but love and admire. A man you wanted around because he made the world that much better. No matter the circumstance, he, with or without intent, made living that much better. From his ridiculous banters, dark humor, and his wild and almost unbelievable stories, there was no limit to his character and how he truly left a mark on all of us. Richard thrived and lived for an abundance of just three simple things - good times, good food and good company. Finally finding his passion and calling as a contractor, Richard was the founder and creator of RICH Transformations, LLC a successful company that was created as an example and legacy for his only son. A devoted father who lived and breathed for him - an extension of him who he would brag about to anyone with an ear. A son who was a spitting image of him and who he wanted to make proud and provide for. Richard lived a life we could only dream of, taking full advantage of all the opportunities in front of him and succeeded in anything and everything he put his mind to. Richard leaves behind so many memories and so many moments those closest to him will forever remember and cherish. If Richard has taught us anything, it is to live without regret, give the benefit of the doubt and to never be spiteful or hold a grudge, and to live your life to the fullest. Richard Argiro Alzate is lived by his adored son, Richard “Richy” Alzate, his father, Luis “Makina” Alzate and cherished mother, Maury Alzate, his brother, George Alzate, his sisters Jesilth Alzate and Yvonne Bourk his loving grandmother Mariela “Mamita” Molina, and late grandfather Luis "Papito" Carlos Molina, 12 cousins and 6 nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his wake on Thursday, February 8th from 5:00PM to 8:00PM in Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Avenue, Lincoln, Rhode Island. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, February 9th at 10:00am at St. John the Baptist Church, 69 Quincy Ave., Pawtucket. Please meet directly at the church. Burial is private.
